Talk about it Tuesday


Welcome to another exciting week in your journey!

Everyday that you are able to move is a day to rejoice and be happy. Thank the Lord above for being able to wake up and enjoy his goodness for today.


This week I am starting back with BodyBeast! Man that Sagi just loves to “yell” at you, all in a good way though. I am enjoying this workout more that the first time I did it.

I am so not perfect. There are times where I just don’t get that workout in. I am getting better. Learning to get up earlier has helped.. Yes it is crazy hard to get out of bed and workout, but after I do, I feel so much better.


Working out isn’t enough though. I have to ensure that my body is eating the right foods, and the right amount of foods. I need to eat at least 5 proteins a day, 6 veggies portions a day, 4 fruit portions, 1-2 nuts & seeds, and 1 teaspoon of fat/oil.

It isn’t easy and there are days I fall short, but I pick myself up and start again.


I am so glad that I made myself a book of recipes, that I can easily look at to help me when I feel a rut coming on.

I also love that I am accountable to other people who have joined my challenge group. Getting a group together and having to account for what you are and aren’t doing helps. You know that these people are on the same journey as you are and they have ups and downs as well.
