Healthy and Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Muffins


We tried a new dinner recipe last night and a new muffin recipe last night.


First up was Grilled Chicken and Sage patties.

They were pretty good. Next time I think I’ll add more garlic and some other spices. The boys gobbled them up. I put mine on top of a romaine lettuce, topped it with mashed avocado and onion. Our side was broccoli and carrots.


Then I tried this recipe from My Whole Food Life.

The recipe

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • ingredients

    Don’t mind the Hershey’s it was all I had I linked to what I normally use.  The maple syrup is a Sam’s Club brand. I linked to what I normally buy.

    I only used 1 banana instead of 2, the first batch was very banana-y and the boys didn’t like it so much. The second batch I added more peanut butter and we had a hit!


    Blended it all up in my Ninja!

    There is a reason I don’t have an after shot. They didn’t last after coming out of the oven and I was too slow to get pictures. At least they were a hit.

    I LOVE her site. I try a lot of her recipes and adjust them to our taste. Some we like some we don’t. You just have to find what works for you.
