Mostly Clean Eating



Where has my time gone. I feel like the days are just passing by so quickly. I suppose in a way this is good. It means winter might pass by faster. Right? We can hope.



As we are constantly making sure that we are eating healthier {80/20}, IU find that it is so much easier if I have a meal plan. For the most part Tuesday and Thursdays are “easy” meal days. ones we can take with us to the dojo/gym.


Breakfast Ideas

Whole Wheat Pancakes/Waffles, Oatmeal, Homemade Granola with Yogurt, Cheerios, Anything you want Muffins

Lunch Ideas:

Chicken Salad, PB& J sandwiches, Tomato Soup, Grilled Cheese, Ham & Cheese Tortilla Roll-Up, Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Dinner Ideas:

Stuffed Pepper Soup, Chicken Quesadillas, Grilled Sausage and Potatoes, Crockpot Ham, grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Roast Beef Sandwiches


Yes there is a lot of bread. I make my own or buy the healthy stuff. Watch the labels though! I use this recipe to make homemade tortillas.

Our snacks consist of Hummus and Veggies, Homemade Ranch and Veggies, Apples and Almond Butter/Peanut Butter, Spiced Nuts, Granola Bars.


There are plenty of places to find easy recipes that aren’t time consuming. My go to places are 100 Days of Real Food,  My Whole Food Life, Cookie & Kate, and Skinnytaste.


Don’t stress. Food is meant to be fun. Try replacing one thing each week.
