Life on the Go Menu

Life can be so busy that you think you have to run through the drive through and get “fast” food. Well, I'm here to tell ya you don’t have to eat fast food. We are a very busy family with being home generally late (8pm at times).
During the fall crockpot meals have become my friend, but so has food I’ve made earlier and just packed and brought with us. It is okay to eat your food cold. It really is. When I know we are going to be away from home, I do try to make foods that are okay to eat cold.
We will be away from home for 4 nights this week and will be gone all day Saturday for a tournament for our boys.  If I can do these meals, I know you can too.
Monday~ Chicken Kabobs
Tuesday~ Crockpot Shredded BBQ Pork.
Wednesday~ Turkey Roll-ups
Thursday~ Chicken Stir Fry
Friday~ Stuffed Peppers
Saturday~ Sandwiches, veggies, and portable snacks. We are gone all day Saturday. Reheat leftovers.
Sunday~ Grandma’s for lunch. Chicken Wings for dinner.

Breakfasts usually consist of cereal, oatmeal, pancakes{premade & frozen pop in toaster}. eggs
Lunch ~ Sweet potatoes, PB&J, ham and cheese, grilled cheese, tomato soup

It can be very simple to make dinner at home and take it on the go. You just have to find what works for you.

What is your meal plan for the week? Any new recipes you are trying?
Leave me a comment and let me know…..

Grace for today,
