Menu Monday~ March 24 to March 30

 

 

 

Happy Monday Ya’ll!

I am ready for the new week. I have joined a facebook group with a bunch of my lady and male friends {mostly ladies cuz we like to talk and post more than men} about keeping and staying healthy. We are sharing recipes, food, stories, healthy ideas and even some things that have helped with sugars, thyroids, things like that. It has been pretty awesome!

 

Since I have really started to watch our food, sugar, gluten, and even our fruits and veggies, I have lost a little over 35 pounds. I am totally excited!

This isn’t a diet. We did a LIFE CHANGE!

Changing the way you eat is work, but man it is so worth it! We have MORE energy and can do more during our day. No more sugar crashes.

 

On to our Menu for the week.

 

Baked Chicken Parmesan, Fruit salad, and faux mashed potatoes AKA mashed Cauliflower

 

Pan seared Flank Steak, Steamed Broccoli

 

Turkey Meatloaf, roasted veggies, berry salad

 

Pasta Primaverde with Wheat bread

 

Turkey Burgers, salad with homemade vinaigrette

 

Chicken Stir Fry with brown Rice

 

Beef and Broccoli stir fry, leftover brown rice

  1. Congratulations ! Wow, 35 pounds is hard and worth celebrating yourself for this!! Have to admit, I've been wanting to try mashed cauliflower for a while now.. I grow a decent sized garden but have never grown cauliflower.. think I'll try it this weekend. If it's a hit, then we can grow and freeze this year :) Thanks for reminding me!!! Good to see you back posting :)

  4. 35 lbs eh? That is awesome! You're right...lifestyle change is what needs to take place, no diets. We tried doing the lifestyle change but we went right back to our old habits. :( It takes so much discipline so I applaud you for the change!
