Things seem to be going okay. I have found that my boys LOVE fruits and veggies. I may end up having to stop their snacking throughout the day if I want our food to last. I may have to set out certain things or create a snack schedule. I’ll work on that as I prepare our school day.
We have plenty of food, and I know that we can do this. Once everything is empty, I’ll clean it all. Then I’m not sure how we’ll proceed from there.
One of the reasons to do this is to help our budget/grocery spending. We seem to spend a bit on groceries. I’ve been trying to get ideas on how to save more on fruits and veggies, but the prices, just seem to keep on raising.
I’ll be happy once our tomatoes, zucchini and peppers ripen. I have two boys who wont eat tomatoes so this should be interesting. Maybe I’ll check out a CSA see if there is one close by.
Are you doing a pantry challenge? Have you thought about a pantry challenge? Any tips, ideas thoughts for my pantry challenge?
Would LOVE to hear from you.
